From a Buddhist perspective, Fear can be seen as the undercurrent of many of our experiences. We all have an underlying sense of not feeling settled- a vague feeling of anxiousness that seems to pervade every moment of our lives. This existential feeling of uncertainty and instability makes us very uncomfortable. In addition, we have an unfortunate tendency to apply the incorrect antidote which simply accentuates the fear itself.
Za Choeje Rinpoche taught on the topic of “Dealing with Fear” in Auckland Buddhist Summer School 2022. This video is an extract from his teaching at the ABSS 2022.
