[This video is subtitled] That day I left La Paz and headed to Yucumo, passing through the challenging Road of Death, also known as Camino a los Yungas. Until 2007 this narrow dirt road was the only link from La Paz to the lower forest region of the Yungas. The road was responsible for the deaths of 200 to 300 people every year, victims of car and bus accidents – hence the name Road of Death in Bolivia.
