Debate With Arnab: Balochistan Liberal Army's Biggest Action For Independence As Pak Crumbles Pakistan’s grand delusions of control have come crashing down. A train hijacking in Balochistan has turned into a global embarrassment, with the Pakistan Army failing helplessly for over 24 hours. More than 450 people were taken hostage by Baloch insurgents, and despite military bluster, only 190 have been freed. The Baloch Liberation Army claims to have killed 80 security personnel, while Pakistan's forces remain paralyzed. The Jaffar Express standoff, just 130 km from the Army’s 12 Corps headquarters in Quetta, has exposed the sheer incompetence of the military and the ISI. Pakistan is reaping the whirlwind of its own deceit. For decades, it crushed Balochistan with an iron fist, abducting thousands, silencing voices, and erasing entire families without a trace. More than 3000 civilians remain missing, their fates buried in mass graves or hidden behind military blockades. The Baloch, once ignored, have now risen with women at the forefront, not just demanding justice but striking back. Pakistan’s brutality has birthed an unstoppable rebellion, one that the state can no longer control. The so-called leaders in Islamabad can spin lies, but the reality is stark: Balochistan is at war with Pakistan, a war that Pakistan itself ignited. And now, terror, Pakistan’s favorite foreign policy tool, has turned into its own worst nightmare. The very insurgents it once trained, armed, and sheltered have come back to haunt it. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, nurtured in the same terror nurseries that exported jihad across the border, now slaughters Pakistani soldiers with impunity. The Baloch Liberation Army and the Balochistan Liberation Front have ramped up attacks, striking deep into military strongholds. In 2024 alone, Pakistan saw 1,566 terror incidents, with Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bearing the brunt. Over 1,000 Pakistanis were killed not by India, not by the West, like they would love to claim, but by the very monsters Pakistan bred in its terror labs. Balochistan was never meant to be Pakistan’s. In 1947, the princely state of Kalat chose independence, but Jinnah’s betrayal and military aggression led to its forcible annexation. Balochistan never consented and has resisted ever since.
