My parents have too much stuff! Today I needed to go and take care of my parents unexpectedly and I had some time to roam around the house and what I realized was that they have a lot of stuff that I am going to be responsible for when they are no longer here. This video is a reminder that you should try to get your belongings under control to some extent and not put off dealing with things because it only puts that pressure on your family when you are no longer there. Declutter all the time. I am aware that there are some situations where people cannot clean out their stuff due to mental health issues or physical disabilities and I’m generally not referring to those situations when I am discussing the need for people to get things cleaned out. However, if there are family members that can help these people do a little bit at a time. It might make them feel better that they are not leaving it to others after they are no longer here.
