Dee Billz comes on talk of the town and discusses his next career moves after being crowd our crowned rookie of the year for 2024. He discusses his new mixtape, set to drop within the coming months before summer, and trying to veer away from the drill sound and scene. He is focused on creating his own, original sound, as well as collaborating with artists he respects and looks up to, such as sheff G, and maybe one day his industry “twin” lil tecca. While his recent success has caused him to get offers from labels left and right, he plans to keep grinding independently to eventually secure the best deal possible, with a generous advance. In addition to leveling up and diversifying in his career, he is also focused on eventually being able to level up his own special someone. He values keeping his relationships private, but states for the record he is not on the market. He also addresses the live stream smoking drama, and says it’s an issue of respect, and that while he is a smoker he will always respect the spaces he’s in. Finally, he says he appreciates the love he’s felt from all his fans, and is taking their opinions into consideration whilst crafting his new sound.
