so i just wanted to start with my little rant about the ban on capcut and everything and how it got in the way of me editing this video 😭 i had already started editing this video on cc and didn’t know it was a part of the whole ban situation with tiktok and so i was locked out for days on desktop. since i’m not playing about being consistent this year and knew i wanted to post a video this week i considered starting all over on another editing, software but then i saw on tt (when the ban was lifted only there an not yet on cc) i could just use airplane mode to save my video from cc. i did that and got Adobe premiere pro which worked out perfectly because I needed it for my communication class in college and started editing the rest of the video on there. But Adobe premier pro is NOT something you can learn overnight and be good at so it was taking me forever to edit the video in the way that i wanted. but i just kept going until the band was lifted on capcut and i was able to move the video back. HOWEVER I had to export the video so many times because I didn’t know the right codes and codecs to export with Adobe, for CapCut I don’t even need to know stuff like that so to say the least, it was much more advanced. and every export took like 20 to 30 minutes so it was very frustrating. But after doing a lot of research, i finally got the video out only to have to finish the rest on cc again. and I spent hours last night editing this, clearing up space on my laptop after trying different softwares, and finally posting the video after class 😭 but we thank God its finally up and im proud of it considering everything!
