On March 21st, 2025 — Tempo Contato in collaboration with Stay Bar hosted the first club night on a Star Ferry - a signature Hong Kong tourist attraction.
Closing off the night is Tempo Contato’s very own resident DJs! First, we have Zack Carey debut his deep and dubby sounds to the crowd - with a small hiccup of someone tripping over the electric wire, he swiftly restarted the show and brought the energy of the crowd to an all time high! Last but not least, is DJ Kirby with a special guest Adrian Yee on the saxophone. Live jamming + the uplifting 4-4s, left the crowd asking for more and more. Zack - born and raised in Hong Kong and spent his late teens into early adulthood in Sydney. His music style shaped within the realm of techno and house, pushing deep dark and dubby sounds, influenced by the likes of Quest, Cap, Z@P and more.
Being a regular at 宀 club since opening night, as well as the renowned S.A.S.H in sydney, he's no newcomer to the scene. Inspired by the fusion of the early rave scene and modern sounds, Zack's refined versatility crafts a unique journey through hypnotic grooves and deep, dub-infused textures and most importantly; always anchored by an unrelenting focus on dance floor energy.
Kirby Anderson – @kirby__anderson, born and raised in Hong Kong, plays with a style that seamlessly blends the best of new school and old school house, his music evokes a sense of nostalgia while pushing the boundaries of innovation.
Infusing elements of electro bounce and smooth groovy techno, blending the latest tracks with timeless classics. DJ Kirby takes listeners on a sonic journey that is both energizing and soulful.
His dad lived in Ibiza during the 80s, with soul, funk, disco and house playing in the living room, he was always surrounded by music. He was captivated by the rhythms and melodies that filled the air, and fell in love. Whilst surviving sepsis in hospital, he decided to buy a DJ deck and put his love into action. He went on to travel to different cities to experience the vibrant music scenes around the world.
He is the Co-founder of @tempo__contato, which brings the best in underground house music to the city’s vibrant nightlife scene. Tempo Contato is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for partygoers.
