To make a meat pie with plain puff pastry
The size of my form is 25 cm by 25 cm
Filling:
Minced meat - 500 g
Onions - 240 g
Garlic - 1 clove
Soy sauce to taste
Coriander, black pepper - to taste
Dough:
Water - 200 ml
Flour - 280-300 g (according to the consistency of the dough)
Salt - 1 tsp without a slide
Sugar - 1 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Butter - 60-100 g
1. Cut the onion into small cubes, fry in vegetable oil until transparent. Add minced meat and fry quickly over high heat until the liquid evaporates. Add soy sauce, garlic, coriander and black pepper. Let the filling cool completely.
2. Add sugar and salt to the water. Mix flour with baking powder, add water, knead the dough until smooth. Cover the dough with a towel and rest for 10-15 minutes.
3. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll out each piece thinly, brush with melted butter at room temperature. Fold as shown in the video. Roll out to the size of the mold.
4. Put one part of the dough into the mold, forming a rim. Lay out the cooled minced meat. Top with half of the dough. Pierce the dough to let air out. Brush with yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
5. Bake for 35-45 minutes at 190 degrees.
