Democrats have blocked a bill barring transgender girls from female school sports teams. The bill passed the House in January on a party-line vote. K-12 schools with transgender students in women’s and girls’ athletic programs would not receive federal funding if the bill passed. US President Donald Trump also signed an Executive Order in February to ‘Keep Men Out of Women’s Sports’
