Protestors gathered in Boyle Heights on Saturday afternoon to protest the immigration policies set forth by President Donald Trump. Rallyers said migrants are the backbone of the American economy and that Trump’s policies are tearing families apart.
The demonstration began at Mariachi Plaza in Boyle Heights, before making its way to downtown L.A. and Los Angeles City Hall. Saturday’s event marks the seventh day that crowds have been gathering to protest Trump’s immigration policies.
