👋 In this video, we will be restoring the 3-head cassette deck DENON DRM-710. The unit came into my hands broken. The issue? The cassette compartment cover won’t close 💀. The rest of the functionality was untested.
It all started off quite well, the broken parts were found inside, and the mechanism was restored. But... During testing, I discovered squeaks in the potentiometers and issues with the tape transport mechanism.
