On 28th Dec 2024, A book on the nagaswaram legend 'Karukuruchiyai Thedi' was released in Chennai. On this occasion Vidwans Desur Shanmughasundaram and Desur Sethuraman played a special concert as a dedication to the maestro.
Another highlight of this concert is the reintroduction of the traditional 'vaar thavil'. The thavil of the yester years were played by the maestros Nangur Shri. Selvaganapathy and Mettupalayam Shri. Ravi.
