Answers to my interview questions:
1. Have you traveled before?
- Yes I have.
2. Where did you travel to, and how long did you stay there?
- I traveled to China. I stayed there for 5 years. I did my undergraduate study there.
3. Why are you traveling to the US?
- I’m going to do my Masters program in Public Health
4. Why did you choose this program?
- As a medical doctor, I have worked in both public and private health facilities and seeing the rate at which people die from otherwise preventable diseases, I decided to take on Public Health further. This program/degree will help give me a head start before I begin my residency training program here in Family Medicine and Community Health and give me a chance to properly analyze data in healthcare.
5. Did you apply to other schools?
- No, I did not.
6. Why this school?
- The university I chose offers Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. During my research of schools who offer this course, I found out my school is recognized as one of the top universities offering such programs.
7. Who is sponsoring you?
- I’m being sponsored by my dad.
8. What does your sponsor do?
- My dad is a …… and he works at ……
9. Can I see your previous passport?
- Yes sure.
10. Can I see your transcript?
- Sorry I didn’t come with it here.
11. Where do you currently work?
- I work at …… hospital.
