We have extensively worked on enhancing developer experience (DevX) across teams in large organisations. In this talk, we’ll share insights into why DevX initiatives often fail at scale and present 5 proven techniques to successfully implement and scale DevX across multiple teams. We’ll also explore the distinction between developer productivity and developer experience, demonstrating how improving DevX ultimately drives productivity. Additionally, we’ll discuss impactful initiatives for boosting DevX and provide a demo of the widely adopted open-source Internal Developer Platform, Backstage. This session is designed for leaders strategising DevX improvements and developers planning to implement an Internal Developer Portal.
