The DIF methods reviewed are the non-IRT MH method (Mantel & Haenszel, 1959) and the 2PL IRT Lord's Chi-sqare method (Lord, 1980). The former can be used to detect uniform DIF and the latter can detect both uniform and nonuniform DIF. Also reviewed is the 2PL IRT Raju method (Raju, 1988).
