দিনাজপুরে জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ অনুষ্ঠানের মধ্যদিয়ে ২০ এতিম কন্যার যৌতুকবিহীন বিয়ে দিয়েছে শিশু নিকেতন নামে একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান।
বুধবার দুপুরে শহরের গ্রিন ভিউ কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে লায়ন্স ক্লাবের অর্থায়নে এ গণ বিয়ের আয়োজন করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে সাজ সজ্জার পাশাপাশি উন্নতমানের খাবার পরিবেশন করা হয়।
১৯৭৫ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত দিনাজপুর শিশু নিকেতন এ পর্যন্ত ৩ শতাধিক এতিম মেয়েকে বিয়ে দিয়েছে। নতুন জীবন ও ঠিকানা পেয়ে খুশি এতিম নব বিবাহিত মেয়েরা।
একজন এতিম কন্যা বলেন, 'লেখাপড়া থেকে শুরু করে যাবতীয় যা কিছু দরকার সব দেয়া হয়েছে।'
আরেকজন এতিম কন্যা বলেন, 'ছোট থেকে আমাকে তারা বড় করেছে। অনেক কিছু শিখিয়েছে।
একজন ছেলের অভিভাবক বলেন, 'একজন স্বামী-স্ত্রীর যা যা লাগে এখান থেকে সব কিছু দেয়া হয়েছে।'
আমি আমার ছেলেকে বিয়ে দিয়ে, কোন রকম যৌতুক ছাড়া। আমি চাই সব অভিভাবক
পরিচালনাকারী বলেন, 'দেশের যারা সামর্থ্যবান লোকেরা যদি একজন একজন করে এতিমদের জন্য এগিয়ে আসে তবে সবারই অনেক উপকার হবে।'
An orphanage of 20 orphan girls has been given a dowry marriage in Dinajpur by an elegant ceremony, an organization named Shital Niketan.
The mass marriages were organized on Wednesday at the Green View Community Center in the city by financing Lions Club. The ceremony is accompanied by decoration decorations as well as quality food.
Dinajpur Shishu Niketan, founded in 1975, has so far married more than 300 orphan girls. Happy orphan newly married girls, getting new life and address.
An orphan's daughter said, "All the necessary things have been provided from the study."

The guardian of a son said, 'Everything has been given from a husband and wife.'

The operator said, "If the people of the country who come to the orphan one by one, everyone will be benefitted greatly."
