At short notice this Jaguar XF was available so I took the opportunity to go for a short drive. The exact model detail is 2009 Jaguar XF (X250) 3.0 V6 bi-turbo diesel Premium Luxury. A comfortable, economical, and relatively quick car from an era when diesel was the go-to choice for many motorists here in the UK. Sadly, the steel body and underpinnings have not faired well with several MoT test failures reported due to corrosion. My choice (if I did not have my current cars) - a 2009 Jaguar XF SV8 (4.2 V8 supercharged) preferably imported from Japan or if armed with a larger budget: a 2015 XF-R (or XF-RS).
Update - apologies - missed that X260 cars were available with the 3.0 V6 petrol supercharged engine.
