The prices at SUGAR Foot's Soul Kitchen are moderate compared to similar restaurants in the Captial District—especially for two beautiful and delicious fillets of cornmeal-crusted crispy catfish—served with a side of fresh-made collard greens with smoked turkey meat, and macaroni & cheese. Where else can you dine out regularly for fresh fish fillets of catfish, homemade turkey meatloaf, fresh-grown and made collard greens, and marvelous macaroni and cheese? At SUGAR FOOT'S, my entire check for a DINNER ENTREE PORTION including TWO SIDES was $23 + non-alcoholic beverage and TIP (20 percent)... The second location of Hattie's Restaurant down the street on Madison Avenue sells fried catfish with two sides for $28...
We just dined at the lovely and YUMMY Shining Rainbow Chinese Restaurant, in Albany, NY, and the check was $58 for two (2) entrées (one beef and one chicken) without rice — and one bowl of Congee (soup) that we shared...
