Over 4 days Stevie has been in Bordeaux's famous Left Bank visiting the “best of the best”, those producers assigned the rank of Premier Cru: Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Margaux, Château Haut-Brion, Château Latour and Château Mouton Rothschild rated “First Growth”.
Bernard explains the characteristics of each of these First Growths and explains the processes involved in evaluating them, the significance of the 1855 Bordeaux Classification system, and why he thinks 2022 is going to be a great vintage for Bordeaux.
