Slovenia, all this is possible within a short distance! Anne Willmes rides her bike along the 46 kilometer long Adriatic coast. Wine and olives thrive in the Mediterranean climate; Pebble beaches alternate with rocky bays; in Portorož there is the only sandy beach and centuries-old salt flats and a new spa. The region was once under Venetian rule. This is reflected in the people's attitude to life and in the architecture. Northwest Slovenia is a paradise for hikers and climbers. A rafting tour in waterproof clothing on the wild Soča in Triglav National Park is also on the program. Finally, at the Lipica Stud, Anne marveled at the famous gray horses and became a horse whisperer.
