We’re Stepping into Magic at the Disneyland Resort, this time for a night time park walkthrough of the happiest place on Earth! On this Disneyland walking tour, we’ll start in the Disneyland Main Entrance Plaza, head beneath the Disneyland Railroad still under construction, and trek down a busy Main Street U.S.A., opting for a change and starting in Tomorrowland after viewing both the Partners Statue and Sleeping Beauty Castle. We suspect the rain is to blame for the castle closure, but make the most of our walk by entering a colorful Tomorrowland, weaving past guests, Alien Pizza Planet, and Autopia. We stumble upon some of the Sweetheart’s Night Photo ops while in Tomorrowland, then head to the viewpoint overlooking Nemo’s Submarine Voyage. We love Tomorrowland at night, so take in the final sights before heading past the Matterhorn, admiring both the sounds and sights as we head past. We take the parade route towards Mickey’s Toontown, stepping through the It’s a Small World gift shop before entering Mickey’s Toontown. After our lap around the neighborhood, we admire the colorful fountain in front of Runaway Railway, then head back towards Fantasyland, taking a minor detour to peek inside Fantasyland Theatre, where the Royal Ball is set to take place during Sweetheart’s Night. In Fantasyland, we check out the Mad Tea Party Teacups and Dumbo the Flying Elephant because both attractions are just so magical to look at after sunset. We catch the Evil Queen peering down from the castle above the Snow White ride, and after a look at the back of the castle, head into Galaxy’s Edge, passing more Sweetheart’s Night photo ops and a colorfully lit Frontier pathway. In Batuu, we find the ambience to be a bit cooler and darker than the rest of the park, and we love the feel. Batuu is another land we love lingering in at night. After an attempt to look inside the Millenium Falcon, we head through the marketplace and towards Bayou Country. It looks like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is just re-opening as we step past because we see crowds heading towards the previously empty queue and find the log flumes are empty once we step onto the secret pathway. After a look at the Haunted Mansion, we head into Magnolia Park and further through New Orleans Square. We catch glimpses of Club 33 through the glass when we look up while on Royal St, and then step towards Adventureland, passing the treehouse as we enter the land. From Adventureland, we head into Frontierland, then take the walkway back towards the castle, where we end our Disneyland night walkthrough.
