Come with me on this immersive tour of the Singapore botanic garden, filled with spoilers, beautiful visuals, education, and uplifting atmosphere! This garden is free for public to access and contains many interesting features to nourish our thirst for botanical knowledge and to please our eyes. I focused on 3 main attractions in this tour so as not to overwhelm you.
We start off nerdy with the ethnobotany section, to look at the different ways they curate the exhibitions.
Then we head off to my favorite part, the Evolution garden - a walk through time as we explore prehistoric plants and their historic relevance and evolution. We see tons of ferns and cycads in this picturesque and unforgettable walk.
On the way to the third attraction, we were greeted by charming open areas where public gather, rows of heliconia and palm!
Finally, we visit the large zingiberaceae (ginger family) collection of the garden to see their well kept costus, banana, calatheas, and other marantaceae family!
This botanic garden is the envy of all nations, and the pride and joy of Singapore! Please give it a visit when you find yourself in Singapore.
