On public demand presenting Part 1 of the exclusive conversation between music director Nadeem Saifi (of Nadeem Shravan fame) with our RJ Divya Solgama. This super rare conversation features some special trivia related to Nadeem’s childhood and how he had witnessed legendary music director Jaikishen (of Shankar Jaikishen) playing piano in a restaurant followed writing ‘Shayad Meri Shaadi Ka Khayal’ song in his teenage. He later spoke about his first meeting with his partner Shravan and forming the Nadeem Shravan Jodi followed by getting their first Bhojpuri film and a super hit song ‘Kaashi Hile’ by Manna De at the age of 18. Nadeem shared about his struggle period and doing B-grade horror films followed by their association and bonding with the legendary singer Kishore Kumar. He later spoke about his private album Star Ten where he made actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff sing songs in their own voices leading to how they own their career to Anuradha Paudwal as it was she who recommended them to Gulshan Kumar for Aashiqui. Nadeem spoke about how Aashiqui songs were created and the whole impact after their release. He also spoke about their association with Kumar Sanu followed by the controversy related to Dil Hain Ke Manta Nahin. Nadeem spoke about how the ‘Nazar Ke Samne’ song was created looking at a beautiful air hostess and sang his favorite song from Aashiqui. When it came to Saajan he shared a trivia about how his wife created the signature tune of the song ‘Dekha Hai Pehli Baar’. Nadeem spoke about the success of Phool Aur Kaante and how they had become a huge brand in the film industry. He later shared his reason for rejecting action films and the whole episode related to Kajol due to which they had to leave Bazigar. Nadeem spoke about the music of Deewana and Shahrukh Khan and how he had recommended many actors like Jackie, Suniel Shetty, Govinda, Ronit Roy, and John Abraham for movies. Nadeem spoke about Divya Bharti and her last film Rang leading to the music of Aamir Khan starrer Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and how a song tune of theirs resembled ‘Jamal Kudu’ from Animal.
