Today we are testing a product that came up in one of my social media feeds called Gyraline. We bought this product ourselves so this is our unvarnished opinion. This is a 3d printed kit they sell that basically just holds your smartphone and uses their app to allow you to check caster, camber, toe, and Ackerman angle of your car. The kit is only $40 and claims to be very accurate. We put it to the test vs our hunter alignment machine and share our findings.
Our overall thoughts are mixed. We think the tool definitely has potential, and maybe we will try again on a car that has a different wheel/tire setup, but our findings were that it was close, but not as close as advertised, and not close enough to not cause tire wear or pulling issues.
