DIY Auto-Switching Mini UPS for Modem & Router | Uninterruptible Power Supply!
Hello!
In this video, I will show you how to make an auto-switching mini UPS for modems and routers.
The main feature of this system is that it ensures maximum performance and safety with minimal components. No relay is used in the circuit, allowing seamless and fast switching between mains power and battery.
LED Indicators:
When the green LED is on, mains power is active, and the modem operates directly from the power grid. At the same time, the TP4056 module safely charges the 18650 lithium battery.
The red LED indicates that the system is running on battery power.
System Components & Working Principle:
The TP4056 charging module ensures safe lithium battery charging and provides over-discharge protection.
The LM7805 voltage regulator supplies stable 5V power to the TP4056 and prevents voltage fluctuations from damaging the charging module.
With this system, you can easily power modems and routers operating from 5V to 24V.
Main Features of the Circuit:
✅ Relay-free design for fast and seamless power switching
✅ Minimal components, maximum safety
✅ LED indicators display power source, charging status, and full charge information
✅ Expandable and cost-effective design
✅ Wide operating voltage range (5V - 24V) for compatibility with various modems and routers
