James and Sarah here, back with another episode in our Sprinter van build series! In this video we wire up our 12V battery bank and connect our solar panels. And after a few hiccups (of course), get the first of our 12V campervan electrics working!

It was super exciting to reach this stage of our van conversion. And building our own campervan solar setup is something that we are extremely proud of.

We designed our 12V off grid system to power everything that we need to work and live full time in our DIY campervan.

There’s a blog post on our website that goes into detail about exactly how we calculated the size of our self-built 12V electrical system and includes a wiring diagram. Click here to read: https://thewholeworldornothing.com/diy-camper-electrical-system/

Thanks for watching! If you enjoyed this video don’t forget to smash the thumbs up & hit the subscribe button so don’t miss the next episode.
