In today’s video I’m going to use drop cloth fabric to create home decor for Fall. This is true DIY decor! In these projects I will show you two projects made from drop cloth - these include a cute black cat made from drop cloth and painted with chalk paint to resemble a rustic Fall Halloween black cat. This is perfect as Halloween decor or as a shelf sitter any time of the year. You can modify the colors on this piece to reflect your kitty's colors if you have one. :) In the second drop cloth project I’ll create Fall placemats for my dining table by cutting out rectangular pieces of drop cloth, stitching them together, and stamping them with IOD stamps to create Fall placemats. I'm using a few lovely stamps from the IOD collection which I will list below. The third project is a remake/makeover of a previous drop cloth project. I’ll be using free printables from the graphics fairy to make a 3-piece set of matching neutral themed wall decor for my bedroom and repainting the frames with chalk paint, then adding a gel stain for an antique aged look.
