Video Not Working? Fix It Now

4 month review of my Trek hybrid electric bike conversion.

It does 45 mph on a smooth road with hard pedalling, and on full throttle (Ha and probably with the wind behind me too).

I have now cycled 2000 miles on this bike.
I've changed the brake pads and tyres a couple of times.
I fitted new pedals as the original 'metal' one's disintegrated. Awful. Trek? Jeez.
The 'Suntour' front shocks are also awful. So much 'play'. Absolute shit. £600 bike and the main components are garbage. WTF?

Update:
Oct 2023, 2500 miles later:
2 of the spokes on the rear wheel have snapped. Probably from going up kerbs. But they shouldn't snap. Maybe I didn't have enough pressure in the tyre? But these wheels are meant to be designed for mountain bikes Maybe Chinese spokes are made from a lower cost metal?
The company have offered to supply me with 'free' spokes (so they obviously know of the problem). But they're still charging me for shipping costs £15!

Also, the original screen kept 'fogging up'. I ordered a replacement, and had to pay shipping costs. The new screen also fogs up!
Even on warm days it fogs up, so much that you can't see how fast you're going.
It clears after around 2 hours. But this all goes to show that these kits have flaws, and are put together with the cheapest components.

I still really enjoy riding my bike (hoping the back wheel doesn't collapse!) and I've done a shunt mod which has made it accelerate much faster. It has so much torque!
I'll do a video on this when I have time. But I would have to say that I don't recommend this kit. I think the parts are very low quality.
However, the battery seems to be okay. But that comes from a totally different company. The cells are made by LG, which is good, I think.
