DIY Macrame Heart Wall Hanging | Valentine Gift Ideas
Hi Macrame lovers...
In this video I make a macrame wall hanging tutorial using a heart pattern.
The materials needed to make this macrame wall hanging are as follows:
1. 4 mm twisted cotton rope
a. Layer 1
- 1 x 250 cm
- 14 x 160 cm
b. First Ribbon Pattern
- 1 x 240 cm
- 1 x 300 cm
- 2 x 100 cm
- 6 x 120 cm
- 1 x 60 cm (to make a gathering knot)
c. Second Ribbon Pattern
- 1 x 260 cm
- 1 x 400 cm
- 2 x 100 cm
- 6 x 120 cm
- 1 x 60 cm (to make a gathering knot)
d. Ribbon Pattern Three
- 1 x 280 cm
- 1 x 500 cm
- 2 x 100 cm
- 6 x 120 cm
- 1 x 60 cm (to make gathering knot)
2. Dowel wood 25 cm long and 2 cm thick. ( If you use thicker rope, please add the length of rope needed)
3. Scissors
4. Comb
There are 5 knots used to make this macrame wall hanging, namely:
1. Lark's head knot
2. Double Half Hitch Knot
3. Spiral Knot
4. Square Knot
5. Gathering Knot
The final result of this macrame wall hanging is 75 cm long and 25 cm wide
