Macrame Wall Hanging 5 Layer | MACRAME TUTORIAL # 4
In today's video, I would like to invite you to learn how to make Macrame Wall Hanging, which is more complicated than the previous one. This Macrame Wall Hanging consists of 5 layers with different types of patterns on each layer.

In this Macrame wall hanging, I use 3 different rope colors, namely: Broken White, Brick, and Milk Chocolate.

Before starting, you can prepare the ingredients first as follows:

LAYER 1
Materials needed :
1. Wood / branch measuring 50 cm long
2. 4 mm cotton rope, measuring 2 m long, as many as 8 strands. Here I am using a Broken White rope.

The knots used on layer 1 are Square knots and Double Half Hitch Knots

LAYER 2
Materials needed :
4 mm cotton rope, 2 m long, 4 strands. Two strands for the left side of the macrame and two for the right side of the macrame. On this layer I am still playing with the Broken White color.

The knots used to form layer 2 are spiral knots.

LAYER 3
Materials used:
1. 4mm cotton rope, 2.5 m long. Prepare as many as 6 strands. Three strands for the left side of the macrame, and the rest for the right. Here I am using a brick colored rope.
2. 4mm cotton rope, 50 cm long, 1 strand.
3. Wooden beads 2 pieces.

The knots used on layer 3 are Double Half Hitch Knot and Gathering Knot.


LAYER 4
Materials used:
4mm cotton rope measuring 3.5 m long, 6 strands. I chose to use the color Broken White again on this layer.
For the pattern, I used a diamond pattern to form this layer.

LAYER 5
Materials used:
1. 4mm cotton rope, 3.5 m long. Prepare as many as 6 strands. Three strands for the left side of the macrame, and the rest for the right. Here I chose to use the color Milk Chocolate.
2. 4mm cotton rope, 50 cm long, 1 strand.
3. Wooden beads 4 pieces.

I use Pattern Diamond with Berry Knot in the center on this layer, followed by Spiral Knot, and closed with Gathering knots.

TASSEL
For the tassel, I prepared 26 strands of cotton string each measuring 70 cm long. I embedded these strings on layer 4.
