In this pole barn video we get all of the girts put up. Every girt was cut on our Woodland Mills Sawmill out of oak. These girts are thick and strong. We saved a lot of money on the barn build by cutting all of our own girts. You will see in the video that we put the girts up by climbing them like a ladder as we placed each one and used the bucket of our John Deere tractor to raise the lumber up to us. This process to put the girts up worked perfectly. Putting up the girts was a lot easier than we had expected. Per usual, it took time but we got it done. Thanks for watching!
