Join me for a full walkthrough tour of my custom-built DIY square-drop camper! This DIY project was designed from scratch. I designed and built this squared camper for my family to upgrade from the tent camping we were currently enjoying. Starting with sticks of metal tubing, I welded up the frame and learned a ton along the way. After we had a rolling frame, it was time to start on the cabin construction. Using mostly BCX plywood and prime 1x lumber the box started looking like a camper, and more importantly started looking like an ADVENTURE waiting to be found. I love designing and building new things, learning all that come with that process and making personal improvements along the way. This was a great build and I learned a ton. I would love to build a second one, knowing all the things I would do differently.
