When I cut various dimensions with a table saw, I move the fence many times, but it is difficult to adjust the scale of the fence. If you move it 1 mm to the right, it will advance 2 mm, and if you move it back 1 mm, it will often go too far and return to its original position.
Repeating this can be stressful and can lead to incorrect dimensions and injury.
DIY a modification that allows you to easily and easily fine-tune the table saw fence for safe work.
It's an additional function rather than a modification, but I made a rack gear and a pinion gear with a 3D printer, and made something like a linear motion mechanism with a combination of gears by DIY.
Since the fence moves sideways just by turning the gear attached to the knob, it is very comfortable to move the fence as much as you want, instead of grabbing it with your hand.
Also, even if you are using other jigs, just place the fence on the table saw and the gears will mesh with each other, so you can start the next work without thinking about anything.
