今回はずっとチャンネルを応援してくれている友人への感謝の印に小箱をDIYしました。
素材は銘木「ホワイトオーク」のみ、蟻組ほぞ継ぎなどで蝶番以外は金物は使わず製作しています。前回試作したウォルナット小箱（→https://youtu.be/k2HNjFUSyGI）の経験を活かしつつ、慎重に工程を進めました。
完成までだいたい5日くらい、仕上げはオレンジオイルをメインに、ツーコート目に蜜ロウでフィニッシュ。オーク材らしい虎斑も美しく、複雑な杢目が印象的な作品となりました。

This time, I DIYed a Watch box to thank my friends who have been supporting my channel for a long time.The material is only precious wood "white oak", and it is manufactured without using hardware other than hinges with dovetail joints.
I carefully proceeded with the process while making use of my experience with the walnut small box that I made as a prototype last time (→https://youtu.be/k2HNjFUSyGI).
It takes about 5 days to complete, and the main finish is orange oil, and the two coats are finished with beeswax.
Finished in a basic watch box with a beautiful silver grain unique to white oak.
