Whats up guys, in todays episode we tackle some issues i've been avoiding to deal with on my RX-8. Many of you know that I have been working on my Datsun, but before my 280ZX, this rex was one of my first "project" cars I tried to mess with. My intentions with it were to build it up as a budget drift car, like many other jdm kiddos want to do. But in reality, drifting is a very expensive hobby and sport, and i was just way over my head with that dream. To be honest, I would love to tackle the drift scene with an RX-8, but priorities are catching up with me and I just have too many projects in the lot, so this ones gatta go since I don't even touch it as of lately. Besides that, RX-8's are great cars, awesome platform, just takes the right type of owner to care for em and at the moment I'm just not invested into it anymore.
What do yall think? Are RX-8's a good platform to enter drifting with? They handle great but the low HP is something you gatta work with. To be completely honest my reason for wanting to get rid of this thing is the power steering issue and the fact that it doesn't have A/C any more LOL! Which is an essential here in Texas!
