Fingernails are a topic that is difficult to discuss because everyone has different needs, expectations and anatomical peculiarities. In this video I show you what my experience has been and how I shape and care for my nails and my philosophy regarding fingernails. We can narrow down general guidelines for nylon string guitar players into two fingernail maxims: your nails shouldn’t be too long, and they should be smooth.
