This documentary accompanies operations of the fire department and the police or federal police. The documentary shows the deployment of the southernmost flying squadron of the Federal Police. In Kempten in the Allgäu region, pilot Benjamin Höflinger and his colleagues take off to rescue victims from the mountains. Air operations are always associated with risks. Exercises are intended to minimize these risks and optimize interaction with other units.
Once a year, the volunteer fire department and the air squadron of the federal police in Bavaria therefore train their cooperation in the event of disasters, and Benjamin Höflinger is one of them. Exclusively the team is present at the mountain rescue exercise Reiteralpe.
