I have this board, an M396F V2.6, which I am sure has the least components in my collection. This minimalistic board sports 6 ISA slots, 4 30-pin SIMM sockets, and a Texas Instruments TX486SLC/E CPU. Another YouTuber, K2s Retro Workshop (@DKJones96) tried this board and had issues with the 1K cache on his CPU - a clock-doubled version with 40 MHz. Today, I want to find out if I can reproduce the issues he faced and decide if I want to transplant the CPU to a board that may benefit more from the features of the TX486SLC/E.
