कल्याण डोंबिवली महापालिकेत बनावट कागदपत्रांच्या आधारे उभ्या राहिलेल्या अनधिकृत इमारतींचा प्रश्न सध्या या क्षेत्रात प्रचंड गाजत आहे त्याशिवाय दिवा वसई विरार आणि पुण्यातील कुदळवाडी या भागात सुद्धा अनधिकृत बांधकामे हा विषय चर्चचा ठरला होता .या सर्व पार्श्वभूमीवर आता राज्य शासनाने सर्व स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांना अनधिकृत बांधकामां बाबत १० मार्गदर्शक सूचना दिल्या आहेत
राज्य शासनाचे उपसचिव निर्मल कुमार चौधरी यांनी या मार्गदर्शक सूचना सर्व महापालिका क्षेत्रातील प्रशासनाला दिल्या आहेत.या मार्गदर्शक सूचना खाजगी मालकांना दोष निश्चित करणाऱ्या आहेत शिवाय या सूचनांमध्ये या इमारती मध्ये घरे घेऊन फसलेल्या रहिवाशां साठी काही सुविधा देण्यात आल्या आहेत शिवाय महापालिकांना या पुढे कायम क्षेत्रातील बांधकामांवर लक्ष ठेवण्यास सांगण्यात आले आहे
