This sermon is taken from “The Biographical Memoirs of Saint John Bosco,” by Father Giovanni Battista Lemoyne, Volume 6, Chapter 5, Page 63.
Don Bosco offered the following thoughts on purity to the boys of his Oratory School. Whenever he talked so extensively on a subject, it was most likely because a vision from above told him that they especially needed it. In this talk, he draws a line through history linking all of the significantly pure and chaste souls. The most interesting part, for me, is when he talks about how much Our Lord loved St. John the Apostle and why.
