US President Donald Trump has formally accepted an invitation from King Charles III to undertake a state visit to the United Kingdom.
The invitation was extended through a letter, which was presented to Mr Trump by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a meeting at the White House.
The meeting between President Trump and Prime Minister Starmer was primarily focused on discussing potential solutions to bring an end to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
"This is really special. This has never happened before. This is unprecedented," Mr Starmer said during the meeting.
