In this podcast, we explored why the distorted form of Tasawuf is prevalent in Kashmir, contrary to Islamic principles. We also examined the role of the ulema in this context and discussed why fraudulent figures, such as Babas, attract followers and support in the region. Furthermore, we considered the impact of this phenomenon on the authentic teachings of Islam and the challenges it poses to genuine spiritual guidance in the community.
