Doom, what's to be said about Doom? In 1993, it launched the early first shooter genre into super stardom, to the point where every game like it was labeled a "Doom Clone". It turned it young game developers into rockstars, starting their storied careers. It is a milestone in the video game hall of fame, a milestone full of blood, guts, and a whole lot of guns.
