Technos Japan created the arcade classic Double Dragon in 1987. By the time the Genesis ports began showing up, nothing less than a better than arcade experience was expected. But what we received was shockingly inept.

Episode Notes:
1. Capture on the Mega SG.
2. Do not use a 6 button pad with Genesis Double Dragon. It's got a really bad responsiveness with it.
3. Double Dragon 3 is nearly unplayable. Outside of exploiting a couple moves, you spend so much time on the ground. It's ridiculous.
4. The story mode to Double Dragon V is terrible. There's only 2 good guys with the same story, and all the bad guys have the same story. So there is zero reason to beat it with anyone else.
5. The box and cartridge to Double Dragon are a collector's nightmare. Trying to get it to match the rest of your collection on a well organized shelf is impossible.
