Double Slamming Start To The New Year Hobie Kayak Fishing Matlacha FL Snook Redfish Slam Artificial

Hit The water a little before sunrise from Matlacha community park with Jaiden. Through the frog we hit the wall on the opposite side of the pass and started working our way to a few spots. I had gave him a few Baits to try out. We hit the first spot he found a trout and I found a decent little snook. Shortly after I found a red giving us a group slam by 7:30. Shortly later I found my trout to give me my slam by 8:00. We set at a pocket fishing catching snook after snook for a little bit then moved on looking for deeper water to exploit. I found another red on the way to one of the islands. On the way back we stop and found more snook. Couple of them being pretty large the biggest was a little over 26 and a half inches.
