During this video I will be showing you how I print using two Gelli plates to create stunning four-layered prints in one pull. #gelliplateprinting #stencil #stamps
I will be using a stencil to create a pattern on one Gelli plate and then use the stencil as a stamp on the second Gelli plate to create an alternative Gelli print.
Drop a comment below to let me know which print you prefer - Stamp or Stencil?
I am using two 8" x 10" Gelli plates. Acrylic paints in Paynes Grey, Green Grey, Wedgewood Blue and Parchment to pull my final prints onto 160gsm cartridge paper (sketchbook paper). I am also using sponges to apply the acrylic plate to the Gelli plate.
The wonderful stencil that I am using is by Rebekah Meier (12 x 12 Monach Journal) https://www.thecraftersworkshop.com/products/tcw944-monarch-journal?_pos=1&_sid=2c9e8864b&_ss=r&variant=40837094179005
