Recently, the rate of heart attacks seems to have increased manifolds, especially in the middle-aged population. Is it an effect of the pandemic or its medication?
Why are majority of doctors so ill-behaved in government hospitals? Do we need changes in their curriculum?
Doctors seem to be from another planet. Why don't they socialise much with normal citizens?
We had many questions for Dr Rabin Chakraborty, Head - Cardiology Services, Manipal Hospitals, Kolkata, while we also explored his ventures in the world of poetry. The questions were many, time felt short, and we hope to meet him again in future.

হৃদয়, ভালোবাসা বা স্বাস্থ্যের ব্যাপারে ঘন্টার পর ঘন্টা আলোচনাও যেন যথেষ্ট মনে হয় না। ইদানিং হার্ট অ্যাটাকের হার বহুগুণ বেড়েছে, বিশেষ করে মধ্যবয়সীদের মধ্যে। এ কী অনতিঅতীতে ঘটে যাওয়া মহামারী বা তার টীকার পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া?
সরকারি হাসপাতালে এক শ্রেণির ডাক্তারদের এত অসভ্যতা কেন? তাদের পাঠক্রমে কি পরিবর্তন আনা দরকার?
সাধারণভাবে, ডাক্তারদের ভিন-গ্রহের জীব মনে হয়; কেন তারা আমজনতার সঙ্গে বেশি মেলামেশা করে না?
কলকাতার মণিপাল হাসপাতালের কার্ডিওলজি সার্ভিসেস বিভাগের প্রধান ডাক্তার রবীন চক্রবর্তীর কাছে আমরা গিয়েছিলাম অনেক প্রশ্ন নিয়ে; খোঁজ নিয়েছি তাঁর কবিসত্ত্বারও। এত প্রশ্ন যে, এক ঘন্টা সময়ও যেন কিছু নয়। ভবিষ্যতে আমরা যে আবার তাঁর সঙ্গে করব, বিদায় নেওয়ার সময় সেই কথাও বলে এসেছি তাঁকে। কিন্তু তার আগে আজ এই পর্যন্ত।
