Dr. Arun Venkatesan is an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the department of neurology, division of neuroimmunology and neuroinfectious diseases where he also serves as the director of the John's Hopkins Encephalitis Center.
Dr. Venkatesan was the Co-Keynote Speaker for the April 2019 AE Symposium at Weill Cornell, "Autoimmune Encephalitis: The Bridge Between Neurology and Psychiatry". He spoke of cost, burden and challenges of diagnosing and treating Autoimmune Encephalitis.
