Dr Israr Ahmed
Dr. Israr Ahmed was a renowned Pakistani Islamic scholar, orator, and theologian. Born on April 26, 1932, in Hisar, Punjab, British India, he went on to become a prominent figure in Pakistan's Islamic circles.
Dr. Ahmed was the founder of Tanzeem-e-Islami, a non-political organization aimed at promoting Islamic values and principles. He was also a strong advocate for the revival of the Caliphate system and believed that Pakistan should be the foundation for a new caliphate.
Throughout his life, Dr. Ahmed wrote extensively on Islam and Pakistan, authoring over 60 books in Urdu, many of which have been translated into English and other languages. He was awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, Pakistan's third-highest civilian award, in 1981.
Dr. Ahmed's views on various topics, including politics, society, and religion, continue to be widely discussed and debated. He passed away on April 14, 2010, but his legacy lives on through his writings and the organizations he founded۔
