Flotation chemistry is one of the least well understood mineral processing disciplines. In industrial practice, it is often seen as “too hard” and its application is either ignored or outsourced to experts. This webinar explores the reasons for this, such as the way in which this subject matter is taught in most undergraduate curricula. It also puts forward ideas as to how to change our approach to teaching flotation chemistry to flotation practitioners, in a way that is accurate, useful and well placed within the context of industrial flotation practice.
